Our MISSION is to work with community stakeholders to empower Women of Color to take an active role in their total health by understanding and being responsive to their immediate health care needs through education, screenings and promoting healthy living strageies in Black owned beauty shops.
THE BLACK BEAUTYSHOP Health Foundation's "Beauty-n-Black Wellness Tour" meets you at the salon to introduce, inform, educate, and enlighten women empowering them regarding the impact of healthy choices on a woman's total well-being. Optimum health and wellness is the foundation for total beauty and usually can be achieved with basic health maintainence.
